How much did Tepper's decision to move on from Bridgewater cost the Panthers?

Are we sure that it was Teppers decision to do that?

I don't think it was. Signing Cam was but moving on from Teddy I do not believe it was Tepper, that was probably Rhule and Brady.

Tepper didn't make the decision to move on from Bridgewater.

What he did do was make disparaging comments about Bridgewater that made it extremely difficult to keep him.

It also signaled that the owner would very much be involved in approving the talent on the Panthers' roster in spite of insisting that he was leaving the decision making up to his GM and head coach.

Wrong.

The guy with 438,621 posts insists that Tepper leaves all of this to the "football people"...

...period.

[PS.  He knows a lot of folks who know "insiders" and they fill him in so he should know the truth.]

Teddy is done, he just can't throw it anymore, and unlike Cam, he can't move around either

Thread aged very badly

It was a bad thread to begin with.

It should have been "How much did the decision to move on from Cam and sign Teddy cost the Panthers? in which the answer is a lot.

Fair enough. I think the severity changed in the given situations though.

He was annoyed with Teddy. He was livid with Darnold.

Just shows how much influence this owner has over the team.
