This team has too much talent to play as inconsistently as they do, especially on offense. Done wasting my Sundays on this garbage.

Really hate to see Cam go out like this...

That pick wasn't Cam's fault though.  This offense is predicated on timing and throwing anticipating a route will be open based off the play design.  They ran a drag/slant with a trail route behind it, and Cam threw it with the idea that the defense was automatically following the first route through...  he doesn't know it will be open, but is coached that it will be.  I dont know of any QB that wouldn't have thrown that based off the look the defense gave.  Issue is, we have a college staff trying to out-execute professional coaches, so Atlanta rotated a defender from the blind side underneath those routes.  That was a beautiful adjustment by them, and yet another example of how in over their heads our staff is.  And its not hard for them to take away what we're doing because they've seen all this poo on repeat all fuging year long.  Rhule has to go.

    • That's why I say we have to keep looking. Even if you believe Bryce is the guy, KP and Grier are not and who knows if King is anything more than a gimmick player, we should be active in improving our 2nd QB spot. Season ending injuries happen, and you don't just want to roll over and give it up. How many starters have we seen come from the ranks of backup? Having 2 potential starting QBs is one of the best problems we could have.
    • Eh, it’s more on how bad the refs are. Some of these calls against the canes are no calls
    • Yes, the QB who went 15-1 and made it to the SB with Ted Ginn Jr. as his #1 WR while also often leading the team in rushing and rushing TDs with a revolving door of largely trash tier OTs is super comparable to Bryce Young. Clownish argument. The thing we are doing better this time around is actually surrounding our #1 overall draft pick QB with talent vs. asking him to completely carry the offense. I just hope that effort is leading us to realize that the guy isn't even good enough to get carried.
