Let's say we make a change and fire Rhule

Hackett is far and away my favorite choice.

I could live with Daboll. I'm not as informed on Eberflus so I'd need to research him more.

Moore and Leftwich don't have enough experience yet.

Could conceivably get comfortable with Bieniemy but I'm not sure he gets another shot. From what I've seen, repeat interviews with the same team seem to be rare.

You think that Mcdaniels is the favorite this go around? Seemed he was the favorite last year and was the final interview lined up. Thus, until Hurney and Rhule snake oiled sold Tepper......

I was on the McDaniels or McCarthy bandwagon. Still kind of pissed we didn’t even interview McDaniels

We hired a nobody and Stafford and Watson turned down playing for us.. I think this time Tepper goes big.. to draw in free agents...

After not playing the majority of his 11 rookies yeah I'd question why i'd play for this "rebuild". We could have had been just as bad with a ton of game experience with those guys but they're basically gonna be rookies again next year. Rhule is either clueless or more concerned about keeping his job than progressing. I can't imagine another profession where you get like 3-4 years to learn on the job while losing your company money

I was on McDaniels relatively high. if he signs Vangio as d coordinator, that other guy he's working with now as secondary coach , Mayo and Holcomb at LB coach as well. Pay them Tepper. Would be filthy.... Go along with McDaniels and a young up and comer, hotshot offensive coordinator..... May be our best bet, but I understand the business and promises set forward.

The Colts are a well coached team overall.  I couldn't believe how well their offensive line played this week, after they basically lost all of their starters.

I would love to take a coach from their organization. Pederson had Reich on his staff in Philly.

    • That might balance out because apparently the Texans O-line is ass. He did manage to throw for almost 300 yards the last two weeks though.
    • Don't forget that Rhule actually took Tepper's offer to the Giants and they balked. He was just seeking the big payday which should have been a red flag. I have no idea how much time Tepper spends within the Panthers building. I do know that he in the past has been too much involved. He supposedly held weekly meetings with Reich. Then after firing Reich Tepper he held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking and made it about himself. Before that Tepper went out of his way to bloviate to the press about how he spoke to Bryce Young months before the draft and directly told him he wanted him to be a Panther. Then he went to the well of his selling point about Bryce being a point guard and we wouldn't need to invest in elite weapons. The guy thinks and talks like he knows what he's doing. At the end of the day the franchise has been in the gutter in large part due to he and his wife's involvement. It is what it is. Appreciate the convo.
    • Unlike most of you, I do not assume the FO thinks he is beyond repair.  For the first time since 2017 the Panthers have a chance to be in the playoffs. One more game will tie them for the most wins since 2018, 2 more wins will put them at 8 wins - the most in 8 years.  Hate all you want but a big part of that success has come from Bryce. He got them in the hole with Miami but he got them out of it as well and was a big part of that win. Against Dallas, he played very well throughout the game plus he converted on a 4th down in the final minutes putting them in FG range for the win. He may not have had a good game against the Packers but he did convert on two 3rd down conversions in the final minutes to help seal the win and of course the Falcons game was his best yet. Tepper likes him and they have a huge investment in him as well. You don't just throw that away unless you have something concrete lined up behind him - which I just don't see.
