No we used to get more info from reporters than we did in the past.

100% disagree.

I’m pretty sure Igo’s access has changed the past few years as an example.

@Zod (Igo?) is this the case?  If you ever had "access" has it changed one way or another?

Prime opportunity to get "local press" on the record!!

It's worth noting that the house isn't actually in his name though. Not sure what all is actually the arrangement with that.

Maybe because deranged fans can post his address on the internet for even more deranged fans to come over to his house and say or do horrible this to his family?

Also could be just financial stuff that rich people do.   Have it owned by an LLC and Rhule rents it out to himself and writes off a business expense.  Or some other crazy accounting maneuver that's only available to the super wealthy.

Most likely. But with the way people love to go after someone they don't even know for the stupidest reasons it's scary to think about. Imagine the vitriol Rhule's family has to endure everyday. Just going to the grocery store must be brutal.

"Rhule didn't go for it on 4th and 7.  Let's burn his house down."

As scary as it seems, I could imagine conversations like that actually happening.

Actually, as far as The Observer goes, they've had some pretty good reports over the past few years (Getzenberg, Rodrigue) but I think the current duo of Jonathan Alexander and Ellis Williams is as good as they've had in a long, long time.

It cost like $500 to start an LLC in NC and $200/yr in reporting costs. It’s done to remove an owners name from the tax records, not some crazy accounting maneuver or every house in eastover would be an LLC. Almost every public figure/celebrity does this for some level of privacy.  Search Real Estate record for current/former Panthers that live here…you ain’t gonna find many.

This is the way. Incorporate yourself as an LLC. And you don’t have to be rich to do it, it’s not that expensive, it’s just that mostly only rich people know about it. My dad is actually in the process of doing it now and he’s definitely not rich.

    • Is Canales really a “QB whisperer” or is Bryce just not that guy. I’m giving him a little bit of a break due to injuries around him and some questionable play designs. I don’t know, maybe this team is just cursed and we will never replace Cam. We still haven’t replaced Gross, Kalil, Smitty, Luke…
    • This was the risk with spending what $150 million in free agency on two OL? We should have been focused on the draft. Now whether the OL is terrible bad or mid we still have the highest amount of salary cap dedicated to the position group by far. And it's only going to go up when we sign Icky to an extension. Instead of trading up for injured running backs maybe we should have been drafting OL.
    • The Panthers are a bad football franchise. We have young receivers who are imperfect. We have had injuries along the OL. But Bryce Young is a downgrade from every single QB that has started for this team since Cam Newton's throwing arm died back in late 2018. And we have invested an absurd amount of resources in order to improve this offense. Multiple things can be true at one time.
