Saints look like donkey doo doo with their 4th string QB and I’m nervous we will beat them next week.

Ugh. Is the NFL setting us up to beat the Saints next week?? Flexed the game to 4pm, reports Matt Rhule is being kept being pushed by media outlets. Rhule saying Tepper is giving him a vote of confidence.

Watch them go out and get a meaningless win next week. Classic Panthers move. Please don’t. Please!!!!!

Calm down. The universe will work this one out.

I think as long as Seimien (sp?) or Hill play, they will beat us...  unless Payton pulls the old "no!  Please don't beat us!  We really want to win, I promise!" showing like he did a couple years back on Rivera...  if they're playing to win and anybody but Book is playing, they will easily whoop our ass.

If they are knocked out of contention they will tank. Rhule will get a “victory” and be here for another year.

Panthers will not even score a point next week, let alone come within two touchdowns of winning. This team’s next win won’t be until 2023 at the earliest.

    • Seeing as how the other thread somehow became a makeshift catch-all for this season, I figured we would do a 2.0 that’s more reflective of where we are now.  Kon is looking like he should be the favorite for ROY, and how gratifying that would be considering the NBA did everything in their power two out of the last three years to rob us of perceived generational talents and route Wemby and Flagg to their preferred destinations rather than Charlotte.  The Wemby one is gonna sting, but if we just got the best player in this most recent draft in Kon, it stings a little less.
    • I don't know; I think it's close for the first half and if it gets ugly it'll be in the second half.
    • The thing is, I feel like last Sunday validated what I have been saying about Bryce.  And this is why I'm somewhat optimistic. He isn't a good QB, let me make that clear before the brigade storms into this thread, but the biggest difference between Bryce before last week and Bryce in the second half of last season was his lack of confidence and willingness to make plays downfield.  Last week was the first time this season he's had that "F It" mentality, the same he had when he came back last year when he just looked and played care-free (in a good way; he had a positive energy).  We need him to keep that energy the rest of the season because if he does, we can win games. It ain't always about being good.  Hell Jameis Winston isn't good (better than Bryce, but still), but he plays with such a confidence that his teams always have a chance.   If Bryce is down to be as aggressive as he was last week, I think the opportunities will be there against a weak and injured 49ers defense.
