Why not fire this clown now lol

the fact that he “started” cam last week and let darnold get majority of the snaps is bush league, tf is tepper waiting for, this is a full on clown show

I think Rhule started Cam last week in what will probably be his last home game as a Carolina Panther to do him a favor and appease the fans.

Possible. But if it were fan service though, wouldn't it have made more sense to leave him in the whole game? 🤔

(or at the very least, put him back in for that final series)

I get the uncomfortable feeling that rhule is going to be with us for another season of Tepper doesn't fire him tomorrow after this announcement.

I don't see any realistic possibility of Rhule getting fired before next Monday at the earliest.

Hell, it could be argued that there's not much point firing him with one game left anyway.

What do you think the chances are that rhule gets shitcanned at all this season?  I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling that he's gone at all.

What I gather from this is that Cam is done here, and Rhule is trying to evaluate Sam to see if we should have him back next season. If Sam has a bad finish to the season, then imo both Sam and Cam will be out the door. I shudder to think what new poop QB Rhule will find next as it's clear Rhule and not Fitt is the one who is calling the shots.

Might not mean anything, and I can't find the photo, but there was a picture of Rhule talking with and then hugging Trubisky after our game with the Bills...

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
