If Matt Rhule is the coach next season, I will…

I have watched every game (not always live) since I was ~ 12 years old. I'm 31 now. That's close to 20 years of dedicated game watching. I obviously post here. I watch preseason games. I'd consider myself in the upper echelon of Panthers fandom. Probably 98%.

That being said, if we keep Rhule next year, my interest is going to be lower than ever and not be a close margin. I normally, even in 2010, am very invested.

Next year I will not be invested, emotionally or financially. I will likely break my 20 year streak and not watch some of the games. Already this year I find myself scrolling my phone more than ever, when normally I am glued every play.

Idk if David Tepper is reading this but if you are know that keeping Rhule will not only have an impact next year, but for years to come as he desperately tries to save his job with decisions that hurt the future, further I don't know if a single fan matters but you're on the verge of losing one of your biggest ones.

I'll cheer MY team and hope that they turn it around of course! Complain all you want now, but once the jerseys are on you cheer YOUR team! That's what being a FAN means. It hurts and sucks at times but that's a part you need to deal with.

If you can't, I suggest you only watch Scottish soccer and pick the Celtics.

I will watch because I’ve always believed he was getting three years no matter what. If we don’t show improvement this season he will be gone. If we show improvement then we are a borderline playoff team and Tepper gets applauded for sticking with his guy and not reacting out of emotion. If he sucks again then we better not miss on the next one.

I’ve been a day 1, 1995, watching games when they played at Clemson. Season ticket holder.  2001 was hard but hey, we were still only 6 years old as a franchise. 2010 was rough but we knew we’re getting Luck or Cam. I’ve stuck by thic  and thin. These past couple years have honestly done me in. Why?  No hope. I don’t know how this franchise turns around. Under Tepper we become bottom barrel trash and gamedays are filled with opposing fans and it’s not fun anymore.  People ask how Lions and browns fans keep coming back but they have something we don’t and that is a long rich history of an organization. it’s just not fun anymore going to games and watching these games when there’s clearly no commitment to winning versus an owner that only cares about making money.  I know plenty of people that feel the same. It’s sad because I really loved this team, but it became clear, Tepper and this organization don’t love us back.

Applauding terrible decisions doesn't equal "Cheering for my team".
