You know you dun goofed if DeAngelo agrees with the masses and doesn't have his own stupid unique take on a situation.

Yea I suspect most people paused for a split second then were like oh...well even though DWill is with us we're still right...boy that was an awkward second.

Didn't he bring it up that he couldn't take them to games... Why mention that part at all? Keep it about the panther boos

No .. he was asked a question about the booing and made joke about "I guess we can't go to Hornets games now"  But for the most part he said that's part of the job that what he signed up for and the only way to deal with it is get better.. He also said alot of Panthers fans have made his family very comfortable..

Somebody in the Twitter verse started the controversy and arguments about attacking his family he didn't..

But he sucks as a coach and won't be fired soon so screw him..

No quarterback

No dice in this league

New Orleans had four different QBs and were right in the thick of the playoffs. Ben Roethlisberger is one of the worst QBs in the league right now but is playing this weekend. Mac Jones is not exactly a world beater either, but again, playing this weekend. Those teams all have something beyond the QB, and that is fantastic coaches. We probably have the worst QB and HC in the league right now.

And that’s why we’re where we are today, at home and making excuses. Direct result of an Incompetent HC and it trickles down from there.

Jimmy G isn't exactly a world beater either and SF gave up three  1sts to draft his replacement, but he's suiting up this weekend, too.

I can confidently say there has never been this much consensus among the fanbase in our history.

This man is embarrassing the franchise, players & the fans who have paid their time and attention to this for 25+ years.

He makes Bill Belicheck look like he's going to a black tie event and his shaky nervous sweaty talk is the most unnerving horrible vibe I've seen.

Please.

This man is not an NFL coach.

Please come to your senses.

College Bowl Record: 1-3 (The one win being a shootout with Vanderbilt roflol)

NFL Record: 10-23

We've whiffed on:

Teddy Bridgewater

PJ Walker (Have now tripled down)

Sam Darnold

Cam 2.0

Joe Brady

Not just Joe, but gave up on half our your hand picked coaching staff lol

Derrick Brown

Terrace Marshall (Until I see otherwise he was a waste of a 2nd rounder)

Cam Erving

Pat Elflein

Dan Arnold LOL

CMC's Second Contract

Robbie Anderson

Missing on Slater

Missing on Wirfs and Wills

The Dolphins & Giants beat us collectively 58-13

...and here's the new info for this thread...

WITH AN EXTRA GAME, the aggregated 2021 Panthers starting QB stat line:

3,573 yards

14 Passing TDs

21 INTs

58% completion

Net yards gained per attempt was a 5.0 (The league average is 7.1)

We gave up 52 sacks

We are the trash heap of the league. Pretty please.

GET A NEW COACH

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
