Watson will never come here and we will have Rhule and Darnold next season. I definitely will not be buying tickets to a game next season. Let the visiting fans take over. I doubt Tepper will care.

Will be a good time to buy Panthers gear on clearance. 90% off, everything in stock. Will just need to hold onto it for the next 5-10 years to wait for a .500 season.

Also, congrats Tepper. The QB of your dreams is getting away because he wants to play for the coach you could have hired.

I don't agree with keeping Rhule prior to Flores but whatever. When Flores was fired, I thought there was no way we didn't immediately cut ties and go get Flores. Tepper can cut whatever check needed, and Flores would have a great base here for defense which he loves coaching. Guess Tepper didn't see it

Flores would turn our defense into a beast. He would need Watson to mask a lot on offense though. Flores resume on that side of the ball is not good.

Yea, nah, I have no desire to have watson on my team anymore, he has no desire unless things fit what he wants.  I mean, Wilson and rodgers both did what Watson couldnt.  TBF, he, nor any qb that isnt brain dead will be passing hard on carolina, no reason to kill yourself behind this line with a walking dead coaching staff, but as for watson, hes essentially the leveon bell of QB's, so No thank you.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
