This is exactly the type hire Rhule attracts.  Someone no one wants.

He is a “consultant” because he couldn’t find a job.  That’s how the coaching fraternity works.  He was a position coach for the worst team in the NFL the year prior to not finding a gig.

Rockstar lol.

Fits right in with the current regime

You people aren't even trying to be objective anymore. Don't lie.

Ben became one giant mess. He has questionable coaching gigs at best, that time-line is mixed with years out of coaching... He does have a couple good years at OC, back in the stone-age period of early 2010s....By the end of his giants career the whole team hated him and out of spite he benched Eli, total douche move.

Theres like 85% bad, 13% good, and 2% unknown.

We are so worried about an OC, what are we doing to fix the defense?

The D is supposed to be our calling card but teams routinely ran all over us.

A new OC is not going to fix the problems with this team.

That’s an interior D-line and MLB issue, I know they’ve publicly have said MLB will be looked at.

    • It doesn't work that way sir. You cannot create a thread expect logical honest discussion and then pick and choose which of his 32 career starts you want to evaluate his entire body of work on. 2023 his YPA was 5.5 For 2025 so far his ypa is 5.4. 5.8 is the average and that is being kind if I'm being honest.
    • Somewhat OT - This franchise forgot what it felt like to have an elite talent on defense that helped create the whole unit's je nes sais quoi.   Moehrig hasn't shown it yet.   Horn doesn't give me that; he's a top 10-CB at his best, but I don't get the sense he's this guy who just elevates the unit.  Same goes with DB.  All seem like strong assets moving forward, but it shows with our defensive output being sh*t.   You need at least 2 of those tenacious vocal leaders and captains.  It is MIA entirely from defense (although I think Princely and Ransom are interesting) I know you need the talent, but they just don't seem to elevate around them much.
    • Bryce's best season is still Billy Joe Tolliver.  You can't remove everything but his best games and not do the same thing to everyone you're comparing him against. Isn't this getting out of hand?  Why can't we just accept what we've seen for 30 something games?
