How far would the Stafford led Panthers have gone?

Probably pretty far. The Rams have had that roster together for a while and it’s all been for naught. It was a franchise QB that finally made it all worth it.

to reinforce that, most of their major players were brought in as high priced free agents or blockbuster trades. You’re gonna see more and more teams be more and more willing to part with major assets.

the problem with the panthers pursuing Stafford was never Stafford, it was the opportunity to draft a long term franchise QB, something they foolishly ended up bypassing anyways.

can’t make the mistake again, if the super bowl proved anything, it’s just how futile your chances are without one.

burrow took an average squad and led them to a super bowl.

an elite squad floundered for years because they had an average QB and finally triumphed once they got one.

If Dave tepper doesn’t see the obvious now then there’s no helping this organization as long as he’s here.

no more cutesy minimum play investments. It’s time to spend massive capital one way or the other for a guy.

Smh....we really have people on here acting like the refs won that game for the Rams? Funny how end of the game situation makes people forget what happened earlier in the game.

How many other Super Bowls have you seen where the winning team on their final drive gets that many favorable flags in the span of less than 2 minutes? We got some blind mice here.

Agree with everything you said here except that Brady didn’t win a SB with Caldwell. Caldwell was his #1 WR for one season, in 2006 when Manning finally beat the Patriots and then won the SB. He dropped 2 passes in that game. If anything though it proves your point further.

Whoops. Nice catch (not Caldwell, you)!

Not far, he would have benched himself by week 8 and held out until his trade demands were met.  He wouldn't even do that with the Lions.  How crazy is that?

That would be if he survived until week 8.  As it stands now and this last season, we need somebody that can run for their life back there.

So, not far is the right answer.

The worst part is that we are in the worst year to make that investment. This is truly a case of Murphy’s law.

It feels like this every year, but the math points to the likelihood that there is a guy in this bunch. Identify him. That’s the job they’re paid to do.

    • You honestly think Tampa would have traded down with a division rival so their rival could land a “generational player” at a massive position of need for TB?   bruh
    • Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!
    • And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
