Who is going to tell @Zod that Wentz can be cut next offseason with zero dead cap in the years to follow?

I mean there were reports that Colts had to cut him, cause no NFL team thought he was worth his contract......... in steps the RR lead commies.

Think about the wertz deal- teammates hate him, Two teams full of coaching who either drafted/gave a huge deal/traded for have given up all hope, terrible contract. theres a new report that he hated philly was successful without him, dumbass told the other injuried teammates.

Not to talk out of both sides, but when he was cut, i was open to him if the number were low...

Hurney Magic

Washington Commanders general manager Martin Mayhew spoke at 2022 NFL Combine on Wednesday and the question everybody wants to know was asked. Who will be the Commanders next franchise quarterback? "We are looking to upgrade that position and we're looking at every angle that's possible," Mayhew said.

Martin Mayhew looks a lot like our old GM.

Mayhew was one of the guys we interviewed to satisfy the Rooney Rule before reinstalling Hurney.

Part of the benefit of the Rooney Rule is potentially saving a team from itself.  In our case it didn't work.

Richardson was trying to keep Marty as "interim" GM so that he didn't have to interview anyone else. The Fritz Pollard Alliance called bullsh-t, so we went overboard and interviewed three guys.

That was such a farce.

The Rooney Rule was a way for the owners to save face. It never was going to change how the league did business like it should have.  Sadly it takes owners losing money before they change the way the do business.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
