Why the anxiety?  Verge and that other very credible Twitter user already said Panthers have him in the bag!

Look, if you don’t want Watson, that’s fine, but dont lie on their names. Verge said she thinks it would work in our favor.

150+, bruh..... I know he can not be moved unless the team has 35 in room. THird time- panthers - enough Saints - Need 45 million= not enough. This saints talk is trash. They dont have the quality picks either, if you dont care about the money. Players have already pushed lots into 2022/23 cause the coofus year ruin their plans. They realistically are are not in this. Its trash.

Would love to see him in the Saints so We could watch Burns light his ass up twice a year.

Burns had 9 sacks last year with an elite pass rusher on the opposite side of him. I doubt he would light him up twice a year, he would be lucky to get to sack him once.

He is too busy chasing sacks to get a total of 9 instead of fulfilling his duties on the field in run support

Burns is still the same guy we drafted 3 years ago,

I've learned real quick that guy has no clue what he's talking about.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
