Defense may be decimated

What ever happened to Rhule's original plan?

The one where he methodically builds a team over several seasons from the ground up.

It now appears Rhule is leveling everything he constructed during season 1 and 2.

TL/DR:  Starting to get the distinct impression Rhule doesn't have a plan and may not know what he's doing.

Just a thought.  Watson has to waive his no trade clause to go anywhere.

Just for the sake of conversation..   lets say he waives it for the Panthers,  BUT, he's can have input on decimating the team he's going to,  Saints, Panthers etc..  He's not going to want  all the best skill players on defense of a team he's going to be traded away. No matter who the team is, he doesn't have to waive the no trade clause if he sees a team decimated on defense, or all the wide receivers traded away. I think he has more leverage than we give him credit for.

Oh,, we have 140 plus pages on trade for Watson,,  the Saints only have 96.. we must hate him or love him more 🤣

It’s obvious that not one of these dumb motherfugers have a clue about what they are doing

The "PLAN"  and " SCHEDULE" are working, I heard Rhule say so..  🤣

What has he built? There is nothing to tear down. The D is average and the offense is flat out terrible.

Wasted draft picks galore.

I swear to god this fanbase completely forgot about the Saints from 2012-2016.

With Elite QB play and bottom 5 defense, the ceiling is 7 wins per season.

And that's with an elite playcaller and top 5 coach in the league behind the elite QB.

We would have McAdoo and Rhule behind the elite QB, so our ceiling probably caps out at 6 wins max.

3 top 10 picks to the Texans over three seasons.

Bite the bullet, suck this year, clean house, draft a QB round one next season and build around him, WHILE HE'S ON HIS ROOKIE CONTRACT.

Jesus, the rams are the only team in the past decade + who won the super bowl with the QB taking more than 12% of the salary cap at a time, and a good chunk of that money was going to Goff.

My man.........

Seems so obvious and yet so simple.

However, after almost 4 years of ownership, this obvious solution continues to elude David "Man of Balls" Tepper.

Just look at the Texans record with Watson at the helm.

28-25. How this is supposed to work...I have no idea.

    • Yeah, if we could make it work, you sign him. All this talk about being a just above average QB is crazy. Dak is a top 10 QB, and his stats prove it. Give him a line and weapons, which we presumably have, and he'll be very good. I'm not going to ding a guy just because he's playing behind a good line and has a good wide receiver (as Dallas does). Dak is highly productive, and gives his team a good look every year.
    • I think Prescott is overrated as well. He is a lot better than anything we have. But it is so much money, I’d just steer clear.  I go withg what Frankw was saying, we need to keep plucking guys with potential from the draft board and cut down lists and one will hit.
