They definitely are...  I said the same thing yesterday.  When we have been the frontrunner, the national media dies down to a whisper.  When another team seemed to be getting in the driver's seat, they were frothing at the mouth to tweet, retweet, and report.

Very Very Very interesting....hmm...I have a lot of theories....but it is extremely odd...even on ESPN and FS1 yesterday...its either all about how the LAKERS stink poo or TB12....whispers about WATSON...

...Actually, If he wants to win, CLE is the spot with all the supporting cast. They only need a qb to make a push to get to the next level.  If he wants to wallow in sht for four years come here or go to NO....

Not if there is something negative to report. We took over every media outlet when Hardy had his scandal. Round the clock Panthers coverage.

Yeah true, also when cam would do the post game interviews when we lost and he would kinda pout because he wasn't acting happy enough for ESPN after a loss.

And if we do too well all the sports media outlets will repeat the same line "worst 12-0, 13-0 ect team of all time."

But I do want us to get Watson because I believe you need a QB in today's NFL to win, BUT only thing is if we do happen to get Watson does that mean no matter how this up coming season goes we will have another year after this one of Matt Rhule? Say Watson misses 6 games and we miss the playoffs will Tepper give Rhule one more prove it year? 

 

I really want us to get Watson BAD! I think he is a top 4 QB but Matt Rhule is #32 Head Coach and needs to be shown the door he should have been fired before the end of the season last year.

 

Matt Rhule is PURE GARBAGE and I'm scared that he may be the reason we don't get Watson.

      I admit it. Done it a few times but he had something in that video that I'll confess to.  First, never wanted him in the draft, and really was strongly against selecting him. I don’t really see anything that tells me I am off base yet. So I expect him to maybe look better but even so, her is the point: Donnelly asks if people that want him to fail? He has to kill it this year to get me off of that train.  I feel like him being average or game manager and like, the 23rd best QB if he improves.... I don’t want that again in ’25 and ’26. If our QB is gonna be mediocre, may as well take another shot at better.

      A write up on Panthers schedule from NFL.COM Carolina Panthers 2023 RECORD: 2-15 · NFC SOUTH: 4TH Carolina Panthers' complete 2024 NFL schedule Strength of schedule: .467 (T-29) Bye: Week 11   Three marquee matchups: Week 5: at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. ET on FOX Week 10: vs. New York Giants, 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network (Munich) Week 12: vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m. ET on CBS   Biggest takeaways: Bryce Young takes on Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix within four weeks. The NFL clumped together the rookie quarterbacks on the Panthers' slate in 2024. Young takes on the Bears' Williams in Week 5, the Commanders' Daniels in Week 7 and the Broncos' Nix in Week 8, giving us an on-field comparison of where the 2023 No. 1 overall pick stands in his development versus some of this year's crop. Heck, if something happens in Atlanta and Michael Penix is in the saddle by Week 6, Young could square off against four consecutive rookie QBs. Carolina's one standalone match comes against the New York Giants in Germany, where they'll meet former Panther Brian Burns, a first-round pick in 2019 who was traded away this offseason. It's a bummer not to have any prime-time games, but we can spin this positively. Canales' young bunch has the opportunity to grow outside the limelight and pressure that comes with those night tilts. Learning to win is a big part of developing in the NFL.
