I am one of those if the price is right. As the number 1 pick in the draft he hasn't played poorly. He has had multiple systems and little stability over his career.  I think with a competent OC and our weapons he could be good.

Been there done that. Strike three? No.

They’d probably take what we gave for Sam Darnold + a player.  They seem done with him.  Maybe we’ll send Ian Thomas away

I'd take Baker for that in normal circumstances. Now....absolutely not. He will be just good enough so that Rhule doesn't get fired and we will be stuck with him at least another year.

Jesus this fool needs a wake up call. First move out of the stadium, with your bumass!!! Second every single year there is a draft, free agency, and trades. Jobs are being taken ALLLLL THE TIME. Shut your hole and get to work. Theres only 32 starting QBs, show not just your team BUT OTHER TEAMS you are a professional NFL QB.

    • I encourage you to go back and watch his college play. Notice how he immediately backpedals to 10 yards behind the LOS on almost every snap. You can't do that in the NFL. Your OTs have no chance of keeping those freak show edge rushers off of you. You can't create a pocket that deep. Bryce can chuck it when he has an airport runway in front of him to step up into. There's a reason why "ease of creating velocity" is such a talking point evaluating QBs. It's not how hard or how far you can throw the ball given a perfect situation. It's how hard and how far you can throw the ball in a typical NFL game situation and that's where a lot of my concerns with Bryce were going into the draft. There were way too many plays in his college tape that if you were watching that purely in terms of translating it to the NFL it just didn't work.
    • Yeah, like I said I get it. From a revenue perspective I'm not a good customer for them. They've probably intentionally tanked offline franchise mode to try to get people online. Again, not a terrible strategy from a pure business perspective. I can't really be mad at them for doing what's good for business but yeah, from my perspective it still sucks.
    • Ok let me be more specific. Smith was a stud before Newton got here do you not agree? Yes, LaFell improved under Cam but then had his best years after leaving the Panthers with Cam as the QB and going to NE. So he improved playing with someone else. Olsen was in Chicage the year before Cam arrived and statistically had the same numbers his first year with Cam.  Hope that's clearer for you.
