Lions looking to trade back?

Possible outcomes

They get a boatload of picks from a desperate gm/coach.

They get a feel for the interest in Willis so they know more if/when they need to trade back in late the first to get him.

Regardless their cost is nothing so it would be dumb not to float those rumors.

I think most likely those who are hoping for a tackle are probably going to be disappointed. I don't see how a "tackle" saves Rhules job. He probably knows that. Getting even the best one and rolling Ole Sammy boy out there equals an early out to rhules contract.

That’s not how this franchise is thinking. Only Rhule can save his own job by having a winning season. No draft pick “saves rhules job”

The franchise drafts players that improve the team, not players that improve a coach’s chance of keeping his job. We can move on from this silly thought process

None of these are worthy of a first round pick especially at 2.

They're not worthy of a first pick at #6 either.

Goff is so bad they gave the Lions a first round pick to take him off their hands.
