Well if reports are true Rock Hill are the ones at fault…. Yes I do see this as how it might play out in Charlotte…. I guess we will know more in a year or 2 but it seems moving the team and or having a fully funded stadium is the end game here … Tepper understands money so expect the most money play. which in my opinion is a more marketable city with a new tax payer fund stadium!! wish I had a few billy we the people deserve ownership haha:..

Honestly, I'm close to he point with Tepper that I'd prefer he just take the team and be gone. Give the Carolinas an opportunity for a fresh start.

Unless he goes overseas, he’s not going anywhere. These days, Charlotte is a bigger media market that Pittsburg and Baltimore. There isn’t a larger market left  without a team.

The Austin/San Antonio market would like a word.

Well charlotte is the biggest banking city in the east coast behind New York .. maybe this is where he wants to be being a hedge fund banker and all.. head quarters might want to move to charlotte … but from the sound of it he has dished out over 100 million for a unfinished project because the town where it is at has failed there contract …. So I’m sure tepper pissed … but remember owning a sports team comes with major tax breaks

They’re considered separate media markets. Anyway, they’re not putting a team between Dallas and Houston.

It will happen eventually, there are almost 6m people in the Austin/SA area. Texas has the second highest state population in the US. Florida has a lower population than Texas but has 3 teams.

And the majority of those people are cowboy fans. It would be a major disaster if another NFL team moved to Texas. Ain't nobody going to those games unless that new team is playing the cowboys.

From Quora.  This makes some sense:

Quote

If the NFL were to bring a team to San Antonio that would dilute the potential fan base for the other two established teams. This is also why Birmingham, which has had several well-attended teams in alternate leagues, has never been looked at by the NFL — fans here are already directed to the Titans or the Falcons.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
