You just may not have to imagine it if Fitterer can manage to trade down.  There's also this Raimann(sp?) kid to keep an eye on.

Raimann kinda scares me that high, Austrian foreign exchange student might not have the mauler vibe we're looking for. If we move back far enough to get a legit bag of 2nd and 3rd round picks you got guys like Zion/Kenyon Green/Kinnard/Sean Rhyan and a couple others that would all be interesting Late 1st/day 2 guys

I'm not talking about taking either at 6. I'm talking trade out of the top 15.

The fact that we've got this guy and upgraded two bottom-5 spots at C and G to top-10 guys is huge.

I want a LT at 6 but the line as is vastly superior to what we've had.  Bozeman, Corbett, & Moton are quite a threesome to push.  That blindside though, oh boy.  We will see what comes but ading Icky, Cross or Neal to that is just bon-appetite big uglyfest.  Would love BC and Deonte to amount to something but I won't hold my breath.

What does being Austrian have to do with being a mauler?

Austrians are sneaky mean. it's the home of Red Bull. those guys are highly caffeinated beasts traversing the alps. they'll kick you in the face and yodel over your bloody corpse.

I hate saying this, but I scratched him off my board because he has "short arms" thinking Rhule will not take him--I mean, if that is the reason Brady C is not at LT...Or we could have 2 T-Rex's on the left side.  FWIW, his arms are 32 7/8" long.  Brady Christensen's arms are 32 1/4" long.

If we drafted Raimman and he starts at LT, then our starting tackles would be from Central and Western Michigan. That was a fun fact.

Frankly, I think they should work Brady at LT and keep him there if he can play like he did over the last 3 games.   Trade back, grab a QB and a LG.  Just me, however.

says Rhule will ultimately decide who starts...

So Rhule is such a micro-manager he doesn’t allow his assistant coaches (who have direct eyes on their position’s players 100% of the time during practices) to choose the starters as they see fit?

Gotta tell ya, NOT surprised at that.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
