Did y'all see that the Eagles gave Carson Strong $320k guaranteed?

This seems like an area that a team with an ultra wealthy owner would be able to just outspend the competition like certain teams do in baseball.

Does it irk anyone else that we brought in around 4 rookies (including UDFA) that came from Baylor or Temple? It's like Rhule can't just step aside and let the big boys make the decisions. He has to stick his nose in and we let him just to make him happy. I know it might be something small, but it just irks me we still would like to sign guys based on where one of our coaches came from rather than select the best talent.

What makes you think we are forgoing "the best talent" in lieu of some favor to Rhule?

Rambo is a really sweet pickup. I thought he'd be drafted so happy when I saw him as an UDFA for us.

He isn't flashy or elite in any one thing, but will find a way to stick around, I think. Reminds me of a WR the Patriots would turn into their slot guy.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
