Would you say the overall roster is better or worse than 2 years ago?   What about the overall coaching staff?  I'm not saying the answer is yes or no, that's up to each person's opinion.  What I will say is it is very common and in fact likely for people to improve at their jobs with time and if they learn from their mistakes.

I think we have 3 coaches that I hope stays next year at this point. I would say the roster is a wash with ups and downs, still don't have an answer yet at QB but we have been picking high so I would expect an improved roster from that alone. 3 years ago Ron, a factual better coach, was forced to do his 3-4 switch which left us bare and we are not some amazing powerhouse now either. 

Rhule is one of the highest paid HCs in the NFL and he is by far the worst in that comparison. The mistake was hiring a poor HC candidate but that is part for the course for a new owner in the NFL unfortunately. I see very little positive yet a lot of school level BS.

      This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible.  Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.

      None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency.  Alas,  we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.
