that's because we're talking about the post of being early! wtf.

it's nonsense and shouldn't even be a factor. it's literally just a wankfest fans to see who has the lunchiest lunch pail, bluest blue collar, suckiest suck-up mentality. it doesnt matter when discussing who's first on field by a matter of minutes. that's it. nothing to go off of.

if one of my reports shows up to an office meeting 15min early, im telling their ass to get back to their desk and answer some emails. no one is impressed by your gimmicks of wannabe leadership.

you should get into coaching!

15 pages yesterday with a handful of tweets but an abundance of people arguing.

11 pages today and counting and it’s the same

Please can we keep these threads focused on aggregating updates, it’s so annoying having to skim page after page of internet bickering

I miss the huddle days of constant tweets and people just soaking in the information without crying.

So who wants to tell him?

bah hahahahaha solid effing point. I would take Huddle whining any day over toxic twitter bots. Maybe Reddit is the echo chamber I need instead (the Panthers subreddit is actually decent most of the time)

But the negativity in this place..... it's just too much sometimes. If we start having a losing season the Huddle is one of the first places I stop visiting. Why add to the symphony of negativity in my social media feed? I love me some football but I can emotionally detach from this crap pretty quickly when things go South (that's what being an Ole Miss/NC State fan will do to ya mentally).

but sweet baby Jesus it's just the 2nd day of training camp and our own fans are just foaming at the mouths over nothing.

    • Yeah. As a wild card team. Washington won the division at 10-6.
    • no doubt but flip that.   The current system insures that there are "regional" games in the early weeks. maximizing the reach of playoff football.  If all of the WC weekend for a conference took place on the west coast they are reducing the "reach" of their hype machine.
    • Hard to say with London--he never ran--combine or pro day.  Here is what AI says, and it is always 100% accurate: Drake London's 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine was not recorded because he was dealing with a fractured ankle at the time. While he didn't participate in the 40 at the Combine or his pro day, his coach said his 40 time was estimated to be between 4.4 and 4.53 seconds. Some sources also list his 40 time at 4.58 and 4.6 seconds Unless you are running 9s all day, top end 40 speed is rarely reached.  I have always looked at the 3-cone drill.  At his pro day, TMac ran a 6.86--pretty good, actually.  For context, it is faster that Rome Odunze (6.88) who ran a 4.45 40.  Odunze is 6'3" and weighs 216, fwiw, and is considered a very good route runner with no wasted motion.  Mike Evans 3-cone was 7.08.  To put it in a broader context, through 2022, with all NFL prospect 3-cone drills combined, a 6.86 puts TMac in the.89th percentile-  Now consider the fact that he is 6'4" and 220.   We might have something here.  '
