He needs reps to build timing with the receivers. They take that away in the name of "QB Competition". You either give the job to Baker or Sam and go from there because if it's Bakers job he needs as many reps with the ones as he can get.

Sam on the other hand is a great 7 on 7 player, it's when the pads come on that he has issues.

He does need reps but a few days alternating in camp won't ruin his potential chemistry with receivers. He's also likely to throw to several non first teamers throughout the season.  I get what you're saying but I think Baker could use the competition (I think it can bring out the best in these guys), and he's enough of a vet I don't think it's gonna hurt his development.

Let's see how Rhule handles this longer term. I just hope it doesn't turn into another moment of Rhule Strategy where he drags out a decision to "keep em guessing" in the name of "competitive advantage".

Trask is actually a tiny bit scary.  He's a second round pick who would likely have been a first round pick this year.  He is getting to sit behind Tom Brady and learn with Bruce Arians at the helm.  No idea if he'll work out, but he has the physical tools.

We'll know a lot more after preseason this year.  Bucs have four QB's on the roster, no way they will carry all four.

Trask isnt going to make it in the NFL. The problem with Trask is that he doesnt have the tools. He can't make the sideline throws and doesnt have enough velocity on his throws to carry down the field. He is 3rd on the Bucs depth chart behind Gabbert for a reason.

Trask would not have been a first round pick this year. His throwing session last year was okay and the only reason he was taken in the 2nd by the Bucs is bc they needed a post Brady plan. You put him against this year's QBs he would have been a 3rd round QB. He just doesnt have the arm talent that Willis, Corral, and crew have. He is a poor man's Pickett, and that isnt saying much.

Let's not forget that Trask had elite playmakers around him while he was at Florida. That really helped pump his number.

Mayfield wearing shorts today but still in long sleeves.

Not walking out with Darnold today so things were a little less awkward.

I wonder what the fans are hoping is going to happen after yelling "Baker" over and over and over again.... whats the goal?

Can the Matt Corral love fest from that one dude stay away today? We get it. You think he's God's gift to Earth. However, since I've been a Panthers fan, I've seen one QB workout who was drafted and that was Cam Newton. Otherwise it's been Collins, Weinke, Clausen, etc.

He could be a good player and he could not but constantly drooling on the practice day thread isn't going go make that happen.

Sometimes yelling at the dudes works.

My favorite training camp experience was Brandon Hogan coming to sign my hat after I told him to “come over here” chatting it up with him and then him telling the little kids “damn I can’t sign everybody” before walking off. He was cool as fug, hate that due to injury he never got a real shot in the league.

Sometimes it doesn’t, I’ve seen Steve Smith curse people out for doing the same thing.

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
