I think that would happen, but I would play the best LT/LG combination.  In other words, if Ickey and BC are equal at LT but Ickey is the better G...

When it comes to potential at LT, Icky has to blow BC away.  However I get what you are saying BC seems much better at playing LT than LG due to his quickness and smaller frame.  Icky is also going to struggle against speed rushers early on in pass protection.  So the best lineup early might be LT- BC, LG- Icky, C- Bozeman, RG- Corbett, RT- Moton.  Once Icky gets the speed of the NFL down at LG, I have to think Icky at LT and Jordan/Brown/whoever at LG would be better overall.  It's easier to find a solid LG vs a great LT.

Starting to think we're keeping Darnold in camp and giving him reps solely to push Baker to be even better and to compete rather than being handed the starting job. Trade/cut Darnold during preseason. If this is the plan then I like it.

I'm with you, I think they are wanting both to be pushed.

I hope Robby is coming around a tad. If anything, it’s got to be nice to be catching balls from someone other than Darnold.

Working one on one like that isn't some gimmicky team PR idea thing either. Putting the social media drama aside and grinding in that heat is real

It’s fun for normal people trying to get autographs for their kids. I went to camp with 2 of my sons right after the SB and we had a blast. I was one of the few who knew Norwell so he came over, Luke was great, TD came over to sign after I told him his son beat my son in the flag championship (true) and told my son better luck next time and Bradberry was really cool. Signed everything until they made him quit so he threw his gloves to my son (got 1) that he signed the next day.

Some dickhead who is trying to livestream his funny question is not the norm.

I used to go to slate with Andrew Norwell while he was here in Charlotte. My buddy Justin was the third string QB at OSU and that’s how I met him. Andrew was an animal off the field as well, haha.

I don’t think the guy holding the camera was the person who asked the question. From my understanding the person who asked the question fleed. I could be wrong though.

Apparently DJ knocked the ball out.

I think forcing turnovers this year has to be a focal point for our defense. I looked back statistically and despite our defense being #2 in yards allowed, we were in the bottom half of the league in forcing turnovers. On offense, we were #2 in giving away turnovers. During our Super Bowl run in 2015, our defense was dominant with forcing turnovers with Peanut Tillman and Luke picking off passes or forcing fumbles.

I want Ickey at LT--but right now, BC is more ready.  That will change.  I just think BC is going to find a spot somehow.  Of course, a swing T probably plays a lot of snaps over the course of a year.
