Not a good look for Deonte Brown

As, I've said in many other threads,  Brown plays fat and weak. He's awful and was getting abused every play for the most part. He will likely be a very early cut.

I watched him--he will be cut.

Not sure if this has been a thing on here yet, but Cade Mays was at C, and he looked good from what I could tell.  Had a high snap, but we all snap high once in a while.  I know I do.

he was a sixth rounder...we took a flier that didnt work out...bye.

However we still couldve selected Trey Smith who just about everyone on the huddle wanted and it was the obvious choice, yet we selected this bum and a fuging long snapper.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
