Well remember Rhule is the real GM. We won't know what kind of GM Fitterer is without any reigns on him until he is out from under Rhule.

I do think the trade happy "in on every deal" thing is Fitterer. Which, admittedly has been a mixed bag.

I hope we have success with him for the foreseeable future but it’s just so hard to accept that it means Rhule stays in the picture. He’s just so out of his depth and it will be true even if we do well. Coach & QB means everything. I’d love for this version of the team to surprise. The NFC is wide open if Stafford’s injuries linger and TB can’t sustain.

I don't consider it an excuse it's more of a lack of information and also just a hierarchy of blame. Rhule is at the top so he should get the bulk of the blame. We can speculate on what percentage of what move is assigned to who but the reality is that we don't know.

What I do know is that Rhule is leading this organization after Tepper, so the bulk of the overall blame is rightfully his.

If Cam Newton didn't want to come back to this "situation" when the door was publicly open for him to do so shouldn't that say something? He wouldn't even do it again for the money. Why? Ever asked yourself why? Maybe you already know why and you choose to wear the blue sunglasses and ignore it.

Maybe this "situation" isn't good for Baker either. Ever thought of that? The "situation" was terrible for Teddy/Sam/Cam/Corral and the situation hasn't changed, it's still doing damage.

Needless to say, until the "situation" isn't in charge I can't see any changes happen physically or energetically.

The "situations" plan is already crumbling piece by piece because of the weak foundation upon which it stands.

      Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.

      Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
