from what ive seen he has only missed 2 games since coming to the NFL. Is that correct?

If you read up on Twitter the takes from Jags fans who know all about him it's a mixed bag and this is just part of that full picture he hasn't missed many games because he's only 23 but he's been banged up. This is a boom or bust trade and for a late rounder I'm obviously fine with it but I'm not going to put blinders on and assume every Jags fan is being a hater ya know.

I've been following Shenault since his years at colorado. The guy when used correctly can be as elite as Deebo. The post above has an awesome video of what he brings to the position you rarely see in a single WR.

@Mr. ScotI keep thinking about that play that i called out in that other thread where Chuba dropped the ball after Baker threaded the needle... Shenault running that route is going to be money.  I love this move bc I think McAdoo is going to have some plays drawn up for a player like Shenault, and also this helps alleviate pressue on the TE shortcomings.

My guess would be it started with McAdoo, so yeah I'd say he's got ideas.

He the closest thing we will have to CMC if he gets hurt again.  That had to play a factor in the decision.

I think the NFL is converting to the "Wide Back" model could play a role here. You can thank Shanahan and McVay for that.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
