I don't wanna know what you googled to find that 😳

I went to Gif---typed in "boner".  I had a very wide selection of options, but this one made me gasp.  I thought, "You know, I am going to act 12 since I am protected by anonymity."

It's already clear some of you are not going to be able to handle Baker.  This is nothing compared to what he will bring in the season.  Buckle up.

We've sucked ass for almost 4 years, can't believe some people want more patience no cursing on the sidelines

And those words will not help him f**k Cleveland up. Talk is cheap. Running ones mouth does not make them Steve Smith.

I disagree. He's firing up his team, which can definitely have an effect on how they come together on gameday. Same reason he's drummed up a rivalry with Shaq and why Boseman calls him the type of guy you want to play for.

We've been through this already with Cam. While folks complained everytime he showed emotion on the field his teammates rallied around him because he was all in. Other players wanted to play with Cam because of it.

At the end of the day it's a game, and all things equal I'd bet most of them would prefer a leader who's emotionally engaged over the stoic robots that boomers want them to be.

He should have known better to say anything like that around a reporter.  Now he better back it up or he's going to look mighty foolish. All bark and no bite.

I get that, but at the same time... I am so happy to have a QB with some attitude and personality other than "corporate talk". We've only had a few here since the teams inception. Smitty, Norman, Cam, prob a few I'm forgetting.

About time we had someone that actually wanted to fug other teams up

Like is said, if he doesn't back it up the locker room will not buy into his bravado because it is all bark and no bite. Talking sh!t loses its meaning if it is not backed up by action.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
