Guess Team Captains

I believe the team captains for the 2022 Panthers will be Shaq Thompson, Donte Jackson, Brian Burns, Jermey Chinn, Baker Mayfield, Taylor Moton, Christian McCaffery, JJ Jansen. What does your captain list look like?

Not sure about Donte--but the players really like him.  The rest are locks, imo.

Yeah I wanted to post this mainly because I believe it is time for Chinn to get recognized by his peers. Will he get one of those two open slots? We will find out Thursday or Friday.

I forgot Donte was a captain last year.  Like I said, he is pretty outspoken in a positive way and his teammates love him....I see it.

Chinn needs a C.  He is one of those players who will play for 10 years at a high level while representing everything that is good about sports...

At the pats joint practices I attended it was quite obvious the biggest leaders on D were Shaq, Burns, Chinn and Donte. I'd be pretty shocked if Chinn doesn't get a captaincy this year.

Damn, 8 captains? Nice.

I think we normally do 6, or at least have recently, but we have at least 2 spots up for grabs this year ourselves.

I think it speaks volumes that JJ Jansen is a team captain for special teams and one of the longest tenured Panthers play ever. Long snapper is probably one of the most replaceable positions but he just remains un-replaceable. Respect to the man.

JJ has been solid for us for such a long time. Crazy thing is he is still 9 years younger than Brady…
