Due to the weekend rain Bank of America Stadium will paint both soccer and football lines on the field tonight. This means Charlotte FC will have both lines on their field. They hope to remove the soccer lines for the Carolina Panthers game tomorrow night. Can't paint in the rain, just remove it.

I'm comfortable betting that if a vet like Shaq dislikes it, then most players probably do as a whole. You know, like how the NFLPA as a whole filed a request with the league to go to natural surfaces everywhere.

Nah. I’m looking at BoA related surface issues only. The evolution of field turf is improving to the point where outside of heat index related situations, the turf is just as responsive as grass.

can you link a source identifying the specific turf BOA has installed and also what I’d assume is some sort of test result information comparing that specific turf to real grass/dirt?
