I want it back natural, but fwiw, didn't we have one of the worst regarded fields back when it was a few years ago?  Like I remember there being a game after a huge rain spell and players were pretty unhappy as there were issues with it draining and the and coming up in huge chunks during the game.

I think there was an issue for a game after an event where it was completely resodded with rain in between. But in general we always had one of the highest rated fields by players in the league.

Yes!  That's what it was.  I had those two conflicting memories in my head about it being highly rated at some point, but the particular incident after it was resodded stood out because I remember seeing the b-roll of the grounds crew trying to fix it and how bad it looked.
