And I'll add to that on top of not using him early they weren't even making the Browns accountable for him no motions/ movement in the backfield or lined up in the slot.

Yeah that was weird, looked like preseason vanilla calls when you have the #2 fantasy RB just standing there

On many plays CMC seemed like the only person who could hold a block... that's not a good use of his talents.

You don't win Super Bowls by leaving a lot of gas in the tank of your best players. We aren't trying to improve their resale value.

Use the man. Hell, our kicker was injured warming up on the sidelines...

If you use him effectively early and establish him as a threat, his value as a decoy also increases.  Running him up the gut isn't a great way to establish him as as a threat.  I don't know why it's so hard to understand or figure out.  Get him the ball in space and let him do his thing.

Why did we not run the ball at all in the first half McCaffrey or other.  If Forman can't run the damn ball let's get someone who can. Every other team seems to be able to get 2 capable running backs.  It was weird play calling that put our o-line on their heels the entire first half.  And if the ball is getting batted every play how about we move the pocket.  Baker is pretty good at throwing on the roll out.

Baker couldn't get through his reads far enough to make it to CMC. Also their d-line was better than our o-line, so running was going to be mostly ineffective. Add to that drive killing batted passes and you've got trouble.

Sadly we still need further upgrades to our o-line to stop this from happening.

My first move would be... to not start a back up at center.  Wtf is happening?
