Tally of Everyone Who Believed in Rhule

I was hopeful but the more I see this team so unprepared week in and week out, I start questioning what it is that they do in "practice" every week. They attend the games on Sundays and just look so lost, in addition to playing with no tenacity whatsoever. We need to hit the reset button and I hope it happens sooner rather than later.

Lol you’re not going to get a tally or any kind of accountability from those people. I honestly have no idea why people were so big on Rhule even until recent times. He had a lot of question marks coming here and they showed up more and more as time went on. Of course, the excitement of moving on from Rivera helped with those initial concerns. I hated Rivera and still do but the fact is both are terrible coaches. Rivera just got lucky with Cam Newton and having McDermott.

It happens, the dude is a terrible coach. Many others have failed horribly as well. No reason it should have lasted this long but it did. Just poor management.  Hopefully the next HC will be a much better prospect.

Never wanted him.  Always thought he had that sleazeball, used car salesman vibe about him...  then after we hired him, I hoped for the best even though I hated it, and even started believing in him after seeing some of his opening pressers as he seemed smart and charismatic.  Then he actually coached, and I realized why I never wanted him again in the first place, because all that talk is empty if you don't have the ability as a strategist and game manager to back it up.

And now when he talks, it means nothing.

So in summary, never wanted him, and still don't.

Not sure what’s happy about this thread buddy.  But absolutely I want to “I told you so”…. Been some crazy Rhule love here for a while. Let’s not forget he never beat a top 25 team in COLLEGE.  Alas, beating a dead horse though, so my bad for asking who supported him.  Still want to know though

    • The #Panthers explored the possibility of adding Jaire Alexander, but there was never an offer made, a league source told @theobserver.   https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1935436577649401872?s=46
    • Yes I agree, the future RT could easily be christ. When he shocking re-signed here for the cheap, he said part of the reason was the OL coaching staff.  I've already thought too much about 2026. The RT has all the options, including resigning Motown. I was never a big fan, but he's solid and peptides and stem cells can fix a gippy knee. If he makes it though this year and wants to return, why not for 2 years 16 million?? Or like you said give the job to Christ or draft your RT...... that I feel is the best current method. With both OGs in the 20 million per cap range and Icky......ooooooooooo boy he could be the first 30 million per OLmen in NFL history. That's a huge portion of cap space for the OL, which I agree with, but in order to offset those 20 and 30 million deals... you need cheap rookie contracts. (unless Motown would take a huge pay cut and whoever the C will be).  This is the deepest OL I can recall in Panthers history.  I believe Morgan should try and trade either Kingston or Zavala.  I didn't even talk about Yosh, Tarquin, or Walton. Yosh is same age as christ and why not him as RT after good swing tackle years? Tarquin is a UDFA on the prayer program, 150,000 in guarantees and why not him in 2026? Walton seems to be a OL coach favorite, he followed the Tampa Bay staff here after 2 years there and add in one year here, he's stuck around for some reason. I think they need to spend very light on RT and Panthers have lots of options, I love it.
    • That better not be the case. They need to be ready week 1. The easiest part if their schedule is the first few fames
