Igo, any credence to this?

All this just makes too much sense. It's hard to believe that it's not true.

The only thing that I hadn't thought before is about snow and Rhule being literally glued at the hip. I thought it was bad, but I'm not surprised at the idea it could be this bad. Re: snow running the show? You know....I'm not going to argue against it. It seems totally plausible that snow holds that much sway over Rhule.

The whole thing is a poo show and we're fugging stuck. We'll, a lot of y'all are. I'm less and less attached to this team and the blame falls squarely on Rhule's shoulders and by extension tepper who allows this poo to go on.

Get rid of Rhule and bring in a HC who is an experienced and proven success in the NFL rather than some smooth talking snake oil salesman guided by some old drunk he met at a truck stop who spouted some "wisdom" at and you'll see a dramatic  turnaround that doesn't take 7 years to make. Seriously what kind of BS are y'all and tepper buying believing that poo?

Not sure I agree with you fully on the veteran retention point (Done, DJ, etc) but maybe those are the younger players you reference. Otherwise, i pretty much agree with you on the rest.

Even with my lack of faith in Rhule taking this all at face value is a very tough sell, but it's awfully specific and most isn't much of a reach from what we see on Sundays. Truth to any individual bit would be bad enough but if all of it was somehow true... dang.

Not sure who Done is. Either way, I am taling about veterans, not our younger players that resigned(DJ, DM).

If you notice, most real veteran NFL players don't stick here very long(Reddick, Gilmore, etc). And we don't seem to be able to sign many more than borderline NFL players and journeyman we overpaid for.

TBD on this year's crop, so maybe that narrative changes. I find it much more likely that Rhule is inevitably fired and this discussion just basically becomes a post-event.

It's so very specific that I have a hard time believing that there isn't more widespread talk about this. Especially if that kind of dysfunction they reference. This hasn't exactly been an organization that has had an easy time keeping insider rumors from the public sphere.

If this is true, so much stuff is gonna come out after he gets canned.

Sadly it is more interesting then their product on the field...it's that bad. I don't really think we can win any given week so watching Total Drama Island that Rhule and Snow put themselves on is about all that is left other than slowly watching Tepper from his box learning how the NFL works the hard way.

Holy sh-t 😳

Honestly, a rift between the NFL guys and the college guys wouldn't be at all surprising.

If any truth lies in the rumor, that would just be golden.

Rhule is essentially forced to bring in experienced coaches, they get here and are like wtf is going on? Yet the staff forced to bring them in refuse to change their ways.

I truly hate ppl like you. I read that and got a few ideas. You spelled it out like it was nothing.

My biggest take-away? Luke doesn't want to be a coach. He wants more than that. He wants to put his film work to use. Evaluation is his game. And that is Front Office stuff.

I don’t know if any of that is true but I do know that many people on here were raising some of those concerns before the offseason even started. If Snow and the defense wants to play small and fast on the edges of the defensive line I honestly don’t care enough to complain about it, but why the fugg did we put the #8 overall pick pass rushing defensive tackle into the 1-T? Why the fugg did the coaches and FO not bring in a real 1-T after watching Brown and our defense struggle to play the run last season? The personnel decisions and putting players in horrible positions to succeed are an even worse offense than anything with the scheme imo

Those guys came in auditioning to reverse their career paths. It would not be surprising at all. Well that it only took week 1 for the damn to start to leak in a potential dump like this is a little surprising but not the rest.

I doubt there is anyone on the board or on a coaching staff besides Rhule/Snow that thinks Chinn should be sitting back 20 yards off the ball doing nothing

I will say with confidence that is not how we are playing Chinn. Xavier was our FS on Sunday, we had chinn in the box the majority of the game.

    • Overall, fine.  Wish we landed a guy to pair with Lloyd but I presume this means they're giving Trevin one final year to put it together (72nd overall 2 years back).  Flashed potential year 1, had a dud last year.   R1: Freeling LT - Great value and a need; landed our new long term LT that could end up starting off the bat.  Icky had a terrible injury and is not playing in his contract year.  Walker is what he is on a 1-year rental, who even knows how he fits. You get premier OTs early if you can find em' and he has what you want.  I thought he could have gone as high as 6/CLE pre-draft, so am a big fan of the selection.  Looking at this class, he's one of the guys at the top that is like "okay that's the LT".  Others have this right/left or G/T type discussion about them.  Freeling is an LT.   R2: Hunter NT - We didn't really have anyone replacing A'Shawn's snaps in our rotation.  Wharton & Brown aren't 3 downers so adding Hunter to the mix fills a big void. I dug deep into S and LB this draft so was a bit to zeroed in - In recognize the value and impact add in the trenches. R3: Brazzell WR - Intriguing.  Given our history, I don't really want to place any expectations here, but a different style weapon for Bryce. I pretty much expect a WR drafted yearly with this regime. Other notables.. Hecht C - These are the type of rounds where starting centers have been found.  We got a starter for this year, but Hecht seems pretty capable and I like it for a long term find.  SOLID AF.  Wheatley S - A pretty well regarded safety prospect.  And we see it every year (like this one) safeties get hyped, people think they may go sooner than expected, and the league reminds them how it rolls.  Plenty of nice safeties have been found in the 4th-6th in recent years.  Big fan of Wheatley. Can't say I know enough about Lee or the others.
    • I'm excited. I love situations like this when you could potentially find a diamond in the rough on the cheap. And you know guys like this are gonna put in the work and desire way more than others to be great.
