He said that? When?

Was this part of that “Snow runs the show and Rhule is his puppet” Twitter thread?

There is no way he said that to a legit source.  Even if he believed it he wouldn't want the players knowing it.  Also why would he take this job knowing that??  Surely he researched the team before he took the job.

The coaches evaluate the talent and the game plan for each week. It's up to the players to execute that game plan to the best of their ability. But if the game plan sucks to begin with, not to mention the talent level of the players being put out there by the coaches to execute said plan is severely lacking, then well, you're gonna have a bad time.

And if you have a bunch of young players trying to learn the NFL game from coaches who don’t know the NFL game then…..

I listen to Locked On occasionally but the host is, or was(?), a Rhule supporter so listening to him can sometimes be a frustration.
Dude constantly makes excuses for Rhule.

That is laughable. He is always very open to not truly believing in Rhule. He, unlike you and others, bring up points that are beyond his control, and a view point that regardless that he feels like Rhule is gone no.matter what, that Rhule should have through to the end of season, which is what a patient perspective is.

Not from what I have heard from listening to him.

The fact that execution is on the coaches. If they can't find the right people. It's on the coaches. If things break down it's on the coaches. Yes players have to make it work but if you can't get them to do that and hold players accountable you're not a good coach. Both Rivera and Fox always had a defense that would battle and was prepared. It's because of their background and understanding what needed to happen to win on defense. The problem was they both needed a OC that was just as good and the understanding of how to control the game as a HC. The sheer fact that Matt Rhule has traded for all these second tier QBs shows how he doesn't understand the NFL. You have to have a starting QB to win games and make the playoffs. It's not a maybe it's a yes we need that. But at the same time you have to have the coaching ability to develop that player too.

Lack of identity?  That is 1000% on the coaches.  (And JStew is right)

Players not sure of their assignment?  That's on the coaches.  (Once again, correct)

Even the part about needing that veteran leadership?  That's on the coaches and FO staff.  (Yep again)

I understand the coaches can't play the game for the players, but when so many things are wrong, it does need to go back to the person in charge.

I read that entire thread from C3 and don't remember any mention of Wilks saying anything like that.
