Yep. This is where I'm at. After the utter failure of the Darnold trade and the not so good looking results with Baker so far this is the only path forward. We have to develop a young QB. The only problem now is do we have any confidence of that being successful with this lot? 🤔

I say that because I am not sold on the likelihood that Tepper pulls the plug on the Rhule era next year he fuging hates the fans ie anyone who doesn't suck his dick.

Man, we really should have pressed them for him in the offseason bc they've kind of been dangling him out there since Gruden came and went, and I dont think McDaniels wanted to inherit him honestly...  and I don't get it.  He has MVP-level potential, it just seems they're never fully committed to him.

But regardless, I'm in no hurry because as long as Rhule is here, he would come in and look worse than he ever has, so let's just wait until we get a real coaching staff.

If we are drafting in the top 10 again because of our record Rhule will be gone.

Hes so terrible he has four consecutive 4k seasons remind if a Panthers QB has ever accomplished that?

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
