Remember when Tepper insulted that fan at the bills game when he asked if Rhule would be fired?  “You drunk?

Remember when Tepper insulted a large contingent of our fan base, who had been calling for Rhules head, by calling us basement people?

I can’t wait until he has to sit down in front of the press and answer for this mess. Turns out maybe he should have listened to the drunks and the basement people prior to the start of this third year.

Other than satisfying the fans, firing Rhule isn't going to accomplish a lot. Unless we send McAdoo and half our Templor staff with him, then what. There's not really time to get a new HC and OC and get it all implemented in a week. I look for him to get fired after the game before our bye to give at least 2 weeks to do something.

We have a late bye (Week 14 - Dec 4th).

What I was expecting was Rhule would get fired or resign after the TNF game against the Falcons on 11/10. It's our only prime time game of the year, and if it's another embarrassing loss, it'll be there for the whole NFL world to watch.

It would give a mini-bye to get everyone into their new roles. Plus, Rhule will want to be in place for his new college job by Thanksgiving for recruiting.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
