Terrible. His QB in Carolina is the only reason he kept his job past year three. Horrible horrible coach who is no stranger to throwing his players under the bus. So glad he’s gone.

pretty much. He wasnt that good of a HC and was carried by Luke and Cam. I still remember him being on the hot seat in 2014 until we pulled off some wins and fell backwards into leading the division. He can shove those back to back to back titles that he boasted so much about up his ass. Still no back to back winning seasons. He will forever be remembered as being handed Cam and Luke and ruining them both.

Yea. I wanted him gone then and every year after. Was a mistake not getting rid of him when he showed no improvement in year three. I maintain we would have won the Super Bowl in ‘15 (and maybe others) if we had a competent HC and OC. Wasted some of the best players the Panthers ever had. Definitely the best QB. Wasted Luke, Norman, Olsen, a better HC might have been able to help Hardy make better decisions (or maybe not), wouldn’t have pushed Gross out the door and neglected the OL. Despicable.

Yeah such a great qb, one that couldn’t even complete 60% of his passes and only threw for over 30 TD once. Oh but he got a bunch of TDs at the goal line he must be good… truth is Cam was a middle of the pack QB. When he won the MVP he wasn’t even the best QB that year. He had a good defense that was giving him great field position from turnovers where he didn’t have to go far to get a TD. Cam was barely a top 10 qb when he played.

He is a dinosaur and will be NFL extinct soon.  He went up there and did exactly what many thought he would because he is so predictable. It is always the QBs fault and never his inability to put them in a good spot. D Jones says Hi and is a great example of why we should not go with a defensive backed coach this time.

Don’t wanna bother going too far down this road, but the objective of a QB is to score points and lead his team.  Why the fug does it matter if he’s scoring TDs on the ground or not?  That’s what made him such a special player.  Sorry the former MVP doesn’t fit into your archetype of what a quarterback should be

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
