Actually, we might, if we can keep moving and grinding the game out.

We're playing slow ball and putting it in the hands of CMC instead of PJ. That gives us a chance and keeps our defense fresh and opportunistic.

It's old fashioned, but it's a strategy that Rhule would have been embarrassed to use.

I'm not gonna lie, it's tough to watch.  We gotta get another TD at least.

I understand controlling the clock and emphasizing the run, but you have to throw it downfield a bit to keep them honest...  and its even more surprising because PJ has done it before in games.  So I don't understand why we're limiting him THIS much.  This isn't creative at all.  But, we'll see if it works...

The team has a different feel to it. This is a good start.

And right now we're only sitting two games outside of first in our division after the Bucs loss and the Falcons win. That's just crazy that we could be just one game out if this continues.

Agreed.

Win this today and let’s see what happens.

I dont blame him for that, but it isn't the WRs coach that's making that decision.

I dont disagree, and it's part of why I've defended him for so long because we aren't utilizing the talent we've had...  and judging from Wilks' halftime interview, it doesn't sound like we're gonna start in the 2nd half either.

Makes sense . I’m with ya. Just hard watching are games nowadays

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
