I just watched the highlights... how the hell did we lose this game? Why do refs just HAVE to throw the damn flag during an obvious emotional TD? Can they NOT just let these guys play? Was the flag on Moore for jumping on the wall? WTF? 

And why is the kicking game ALWAYS haunting this team? Panthers should NOT have lost this game!! GRRRRR!!!!

Not sure why. There was a timeout called and his wasn't a td.  When is this a penalty in the rulebook?

It was definitely a penalty.  People saying he took his helmet off off the field of play are right technically he was in the back of the endzone but then he instantly came back on the field without his helmet on.

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
