You're going to get a lot of votes for Aaron Rodgers too. Probably also others.

If you expand it to all time, You'll probably get a lot of Tom Brady votes, but is he really a better quarterback than say, Manning or Brees, or was he just on better teams?

The whole "who's the absolute #1 best" discussion really only matters to sports fans and talk radio guys.

Give me somebody that we as a team can win with and I won't give a sh-t whether somebody thinks they're better or worse than Dan Marino or Joe Montana.

Brady definitely is better than Manning and Brees. Brady has ice in his veins. Manning tried to control everything pre snap and if he didn’t get the look he wanted he would be prone to mistakes. Brady was /is better at playing within the game and the play calling and relying on his arm talent to make things happen if he had to.

Brees is a glorified stat padder. If you hit him and get in his face he would make game changing INTs. If the NFL didn’t play story mode and give the Saints the Katrina sympathy boost then he would have been done a long time ago.

Brady is more successful.

That's not the same as being better.

Just look at his wide receiver group and the fact he’s leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns. 100% agree dawg, Mahomes is in a league of his own right now.

Anyone being honest chooses Mahomes out of all the QBs today. Brady and Rodgers are over the hill to varying degrees, but, regardless, Mahomes is outright better.

    • Thank you so much for posting links to the players so I don’t have to copy and paste the name and look it up.
    • All signs point to legit. We’ve been way better than our record the last few years it’s just we’ve had brutal injury luck. Also I’ve watched nearly every game this year and 3 things have stood out to me even when healthy from early in the year to now: 1. Early on Lee had some brutal rotations and situational coaching but he’s improved a ton there. We lost some close ones early we should’ve won. Sure most our recent games have been blowouts but in close games we’ve improved a ton there. 2. Defense. Overall team defense has improved so much, it’s not just hot shooting winning games. This D is absolutely a real trend and sustainable. LaMelo in particular has gone from flat out bad defensively to above average. We have so much length we always should’ve been good defensively but it took time for guys to buy in and really hone in on it which they have.   3. Pretty much all our young guys have taken strides forward. Moose’s development as a passer has been insane, Miller is putting it all together to be an elite 3 tier scorer able to hit 3s, mid range and finish at the rim. LaMelo still some poor shot selection but has cut the turnovers considerably. Kon has been a great shooter all year but has steadily improved in other aspects of the game too.      It has definitely been surprising how quickly it all came together out of nowhere but really none of it surprises me. We’ve been building towards this for years now.
