I guess he's just trying to be supportive, but I think it was Nick Wright that said it.  Missing on a 1st round QB doesn't set your franchise back for years.  It's refusing to move on that sets the franchise back.

Yeah, not that the Cardinals have worked out much better, but they had no problem taking Kyler after Rosen was an obvious bust. No one really criticized anything about that other than Wilks getting a bum deal as a one and done HC.

Yep. Whiffing on a 1st round pick sucks but it's not the end of the world. Doubling down on a mistake just continues to set you back further. Kinda like not firing Matt Rhule at the conclusion of last season.

Yeah, neither has a QB. But the Giants look to have a legit coach now and might just be a QB away from making some real noise. Then again "just a QB away" is still a long way away given it's the hardest roster piece to find. Still, they look to have something to work with as an organization.

Meh - Giants had lost 4 of their last 5 before being handed a win by the refs last week.  Daboll is flailing down the stretch.  Wouldn’t surprise me if they miss the playoffs altogether by losing their final 3 games

Flailing? Daboll has done all he can. Without his coaching the Giants would not be where they are right now. Given credit where it is deserved.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
