Wrong. I can go to 49 of 50 states and ask what college USC is and they will say "University of Southern California."

Same with "Carolina." I can go to 49 of 50 states and ask what college is "Carolina" and I am gonna hear North Carolina.

The only thing that people know SC by is the "Cocks."

Having the fortune of being a UNC grad currently living in SC, imagine how annoying it was to be lectured by my own coworkers how in fact nobody calls UNC "Carolina" (apparently even their own graduates) and that "Carolina" = USC.  Basically the opposite of reality.  I'm not one to use this expression other than facetiously, but I almost had to bust out the "bless your hearts" on them.

Real USC is in Columbia. We were a college before California was a state.

The University of South Carolina was founded February 2, 1801.

California didn't become a state until September 9, 1850.

We were a college before California was a state. Factual and true.

It's the reality in SC.

Sad , but true. Except in their own minds..  they will never be recognized as  USC , or  Carolina. They live in their own little world and hope all the people from Ohio will leave Myrtle Beach .  They may hate  Ohio State ,  since there is only one Ohio State, we don't have to put the "the" in front of it ,, they may hate Ohio St more than Michigan because of the numbers that travel to visit them.

If Harbaugh comes, I think Darnold is gone.  We stay put and pick Levis.

DE and TE in round 2.

RB in round 3.

We compete in every game and finish with 7 wins.

2024/2025: back to back winning seasons.

I forget.

Was it THIS Harbaugh who had Trent Dilfer as his QB who won a SB?

Or was it his brother?

Either way, it was in an era when you could win Owls with a dominant defense and middling offenses run by conservative game managers QB's. Rule changes since seem to have made that no longer a workable model, but either way....

Head coach of that Ravens team was actually Brian Billick.

Thanks.

Why did I think of Harbaugh?

Did he win a Superbowl?
