Rivera has 3 winning seasons in 12 years as a HC. Great man but he needs to go back to being a DC

Possible, but it looks like he's sticking around for at least one more season. That is, unless the team is sold in a new owner fires him.

Turner would have a pretty strong connection to Steve Wilks so he likely becomes an OC option if Wilks gets the full-time job.

(also a quarterback coach possibility)

Saw that earlier today.  It's the last attempt a failing head coach tries before he himself is fired.

Yea..somebody had to go.  As tight as Rivera is with the Turners it has to be a job saving (or delaying) move for Rivera.  Scott was given nothing to work with at QB.  Still can't believe that Rivera thought Wentz could be the guy after Reich could not salvage him.  He must have had Hurney whispering in his ear.

Probably did him a favor.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
