Coaching Interviews: Round Two

I made up my mind about Wilks due to the fact that the defense got worse when he became head coach and that disaster of a game against TB.  You cannot let a 2nd string secondary get beat deep so often and NOT make adjustments.  You also can't be so conservative on 4th and 1 at midfield in a make or break game.

His decision making isn't great and the comparisons to Rivera are warranted in a lot of ways.

Wilks is just a very prototypical 1995 to 2010 good coach, he is not a head coach in the current NFL. Don't know how anyone can think otherwise after watching him coach us all season. He would bring us perpetual 7 to 9 win seasons with a wild card exit every few years.

I gotta say the super religious doesn't use swear words kinda vibe isn't my favorite. Watching some of Reichs mic'd ups weren't the most inspiring things I've seen either. Seems like he knows whats going on on the field though which is obviously an upgrade from Rhule

As Reich took his place in front of his team in the locker room at halftime of Sunday’s game, according to players, he made his feelings clear. He was stern. He did not equivocate. Oh, he made his point.

And, yet, he never cursed. Never said a cross word.

“The most angry we’ve probably seen him,” linebacker Anthony Walker said. “But he didn’t even cuss, if you can believe that. He barely even raised his voice, really.”

Across the room, receiver T.Y. Hilton was focused. Reich had his undivided attention.

“You probably wouldn’t even know he was mad,” Hilton said. “But being that we know him, we could tell he was pretty mad. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him curse. I don’t know how he does it, man.”

I don’t care if he yells at his players in pig latin as long as he wins

Also mentioned when someone asked if they would be retaining the current DC.  He hinted that they will not as if the new Defensive guy will bring his guy in.

If Denver does not retain Evero, Tepper needs to open up the checkbook. He would be the perfect DC here.

Peak idiocy is gaf that Wilks is from NC. It matters not at all that he just so happened to be born between the same imaginary lines you were. Idgaf if the next coach is from. Kepler-186f as long as he finishes over .500 more often than not.

and I feel exactly the same way about all the Reich ties to the area fluff. Doesn’t matter. Win.
