Shaq had 135 tackles last year, ranked 12th in the nfl in solo tackles, and had a pff grade of 72.  He’s a good player.

those same people on here claiming Shaq isn’t good are the same ones claiming Perryman is all pro

They didn’t watch games. Shaq and Luvu along with horn, Burns, Chinn, and Brown are a potentially great core with the right coordinator which we definitely have. This allows us to gain cap and keep stability in an area we need it. This allows us to focus more on offensive playmakers in free agency and the draft. Smart move.

Not a great comparison.  Wasn't Bradford a #1 overall QB? Totally different from a LB selected in the late first

You're right, Bradford wasn't even mediocre through most of his career.

At least Shaq has been above average at times.

All joking aside, Sam Bradford is the 24th highest earning NFL player of all time. He made more money in 9 years than Tony Romo did in 14 and Mike Vick did in 13.

Bradford is the definition of overpaid for mediocre results.

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
