When was the offer? I know we supposedly made an offer a few days ago, but Sheena Quick is implying we just made one. I could be reading her tweet wrong.

There was an article on the team site the other day that said we had offers on the table for Bozeman and foreman.

one player has since signed, but one player hasn’t…so the ball is in foreman’s hands (pun intended)

If Jamaal Williams commands 5 million or less a season on no more than a 2 year contract, I could see the Panthers interest.

But if he gets more elsewhere, then good for him. We don't want to overpay.

The FA RB pool is large and the draft is deep at RB. There will be a large supply of RBs out there.

I've noticed a pattern with these FA interests.  Everyone them are known for scoring TDS.  Our guys are known for yards but few TDS. I'm smelling what Fitterer and Reich are cooking.

I really like Williams as a team leader and positive locker room presence; I'm a big fan and would be happy to have him as a Panther. But he's not a game changer as a running back and we certainly shouldn't break the bank for him. Hopefully the market dictates he and/or Foreman getting a very modest deal

Yes, and signing him for that reason makes a lot of sense.

Stroud doesn't (even try) score with his legs and no one wants Young to go for it.

Thats the entire point.

Not to mention he had plenty of touches. Heck his rushing yards are just short of the leading receivers yardage. He was the second most productive player in the team in yards and we'll above the third place.

How does he remotely qualify as a TD vulture?

      Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.

      Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players

      This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
