he seems to be a bit of a touchdown vulture judging from his highlights. almost all of his TDs are from within the 5 and there were only a handful of big runs in the open field.

As a swift fantasy owner, I would def agree haha

They guy averaged 4.1/carry - fewer big runs makes this more impressive.  The TD's are a nice bonus meaning tough at the GL, but he had 262 carries - that is a starter to pair with Chuba....love it.  For a decent price I take this all day.

What's with the hate for this guy? He had 3 more carries than Miles Sanders 200 less yards but 6 more scores. I'd be happy with adding either of them to our backfield.

I love it personally.  He's one of the best personalities in the league.  His teammates love the dude, tough hard-nosed runner. He was more than just the reliable short yardage back in a league top offense.

Would be a fan of this.

Regardless if it's him or Foreman, the draft tees up nicely for an all-around or pass catcher like Gibbs, Spears, Achane, McIntosh, Brown, Abanikanda.  I wouldn't say Charbonnet or Roschon Johnson are out but it's much more in favor of the all around, dual-threat, shiftier types.

I LOVE Williams' story and wouldn't be mad if he's our RB on a fair 2-3 yr deal. Foreman also has a pretty emotional backstory as well.

I prefer Foreman, but hope we sign the cheaper/best value of Foreman, Williams, Sanders or Mattison.

I think they will all produce similar numbers here with this OL, with Sanders & Mattison being younger.

If Foreman can do as well as he did last year at a reasonable price tag I would like to keep him. I understand you have to manage the cap, but when we can retain players who have performed well as a Panther I wish we could keep them. I know it is a business and sometimes we don’t know all the facts.

Per this tweet from a source who's personally connected with the RB in question, appears Panthers are part of the mix in aiming for Jamaal Williams of the Lions.

Unsure if this implies that Foreman is gone, or if it's just due dilligence, but interesting to note we're a part of this.

I'd be fine with both Foreman and Williams. With the RB market, we should be able to afford both.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
