I agree, and we may not get a really good WR there--I think we are going to sign a WR or two today/tomorrow.

At pick #39 we may be able to get a stud WR, but having all these other holes filled means we could definitely trade 39 & another pick to move back into the 1st round and grab one....I think there are 4-5 #1 WR in this draft and many could be there in the 20's.  If we sign Theilen & Jamaal Williams, then grab a guy like Zay Flowers, JSN, Johnston.....imagine.

We have the 2nd richest owner in football.

I think we will be fine watching him pay Nuk.

We are fans we don't pay the players bro. If you scared go to church!

Of course we would ink him to some kind of extension with dummy years on the back to spread out his cap hit if somehow he came here.

The only other option is to trade back up into the 1st round and target one of the WRs there to be our #1, but it's risky to count on finding a trade partner, and it's expensive draft capital wise.

Probably in the 15-25 range of TEs in the league which is much better than what we had in 2022.

He was around 13-15 statistically and missed 4 games.....in a full season he is potentially a top 10 TE.

Keep in mind he also played in Cinn where they had 3 of the top 35 WR's in the league, so targets weren't easy to come by.

Great offensive minds can scheme guys open and elevate their players. Don’t necessarily need a T.O. out there.

The off-season isn’t done yet too (obviously).

I’m looking forward to what Reich/Brown cook up.

Did you type this during the 90 seconds you have to wait before the fries are ready?  Just kidding.  I have been able to work all week from home, so the NFL network is on in my home office and I am spending about 30 minutes on work every three hours.  This is so addictive.

I used to post a lot more often here but I got truck driving job in 2020 and then had a lot less time. I used to work only half days and before that unemployed and before that 4 days a week.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
