CJ stroud post game interview after Michigan loss

It occurred to me that although I had seen stats and throws, I didn’t ever hear  him speak

here is his post game after the loss to Michigan   He certainly takes ownership

Nothing to hate on.  He looked like he was upset that they lost the game.  Good.  You want your QB to be upset about a loss.  I don't want players who like to win.  I want players who hate to lose.

I had honestly never paid attention to how he carries himself and he could be the face of the franchise, it’s important 

I didn’t post=the combine interview because I could not hear the questions asked 

In the combine interview, he described himself in that video as a ‘man of God’ and that his faith is important to him…should play well in the Bible Belt.  
 

It makes no difference to me  what faith, or no faith, he is.  Just want a decent person

I think this does factor into Reichs decision actually.  For better or worse. Thielen is also a part of some FCA sort of groups.

Agreed. This is why I thought they would make a serious effort to sign Carr.

Stroud clearly takes loses hard and takes ownership. I have noticed that in the interviews/videos.

Impressive young man...he is only 21 yrs old.  Sadly, someone who had a tough childhood....father sentenced to 30+ yrs in prison when CJ was 13. Seems to have a loving mother who struggled working multiple jobs to support 4 kids. Family was close to being homeless at times.  When college recruiters came to visit the family was living in a 2 bedroom apt over a storage facility office that his mother was managing. CJ does not like to talk about the struggles.  Like any teenager with those challenges he could have become angry and acted out.  He chose the other path.

Yeah I remember the UGA game how he kept saying he gave it his all and left it all on the field. He wasn't blaming the kicker or teammates he was just owning it.
